It sure gets cold up here in central NY during winter time so we though it would be a good idea to bring in some music to warm it up.  Every Saturday this winter we will be bringing in a great local act. They will all be starting around 9 or 10 at night. Hope to see you there!

Right now Nail Creek Pub is ranked #35 of all the restaurants and bars in Utica, NY.  I'm trying to increase the ranking but I need your help.  If you by chance have some spare time on your hands and want to help here is how... About a third of it is in the cellar... about a third of it is coming tomorrow... and about a third of it is still on back order but should be here within a few weeks.   I’m hoping to have these available to everyone beginning Wednesday the 23rd.   We will also be having a gourmet multi-course beer dinner sometime in early January and will be using beers from this list.  Stay tuned for more information

Thanks to our friends PJ Piersma and Brent Boek at MACS, along with the owners of the Nail Creek Pub and Brewery, we will have a fundraiser to benefit the youth at the House of Good Spepherd.

 The dinner is at 7:00 on Tuesday the 15th of December.  Tickets must be purchased ahead of time and they will go fast.  Stop down to the pub and ask the bartender to purchase one or two or however many that you want.  Hope to see you there.  Please see below for the pairing :)

This Thursday (Nov 5) at 7:00pm we will be holding our first “Firkin Thursday”.  The firkin will be ceremoniously tapped at 7:00 sharp so if you want to see me get beer all over myself, make sure you are there by 7:00.

I am excited to say that this coming Saturday (23rd) will mark our official 1 year anniversary!

We are bringing in the Rusty Doves to help us celebrate. They will start making their unique blend beautiful music at 9:00pm.

Next week is craft beer week and as you can imagine we will be celebrating!  I have lined up a FREE tasting every day that week.  All the tastings are 6-8.  There will be prizes and giveaways all week.  Who doesnt want free beer?!?!?!

I have spoken with some local musicians and we are setting up an Irish Session.   The first session will be on May 5th at 7:30.  If all goes well we will keep doing this once a month.  There is of course no fee.
